A historical telecast, tune in at the websites of ABSCBN and gov.ph today, Sunday. Commemorating what happened exactly 40 years ago. We will never forget. Our generation will refuse to forget. Let this shame the revisionist view of history espoused by ‘big brother’.
(Put your speakers on high volume as the sound quality is kind of muffled. Just think of it as reliving the TV of the 70s.)
malacanan:

After forty years, the declaration video. This joint project of ABS-CBN News and the Official Gazette brings you Ferdinand E. Marcos as he declares Martial Law. The video is the only surviving footage of the declaration. That’s at 7:15 p.m today, Sunday. Forty years to the date and time of the original broadcast.
This historic re-broadcast will be available, simultaneously, at the Official Gazette page and at ABS-CBN’s www.abs-cbnnews.com/rememberML40.
Events leading up to the declaration are also being live-tweeted by @mlq3 and @govph. Follow them for an in-depth and comprehensive coverage of today’s events forty years ago.
Never forget. #ML40
